A much needed break...

I am thoroughly enjoying a break here between sessions and busy life. I am working on new exposure techniques and studying more post processing techniques and I am loving it. I love it when a new part of the art of photography opens up to my mind, it feels like a new place to explore and make art. I truly do thank God for the gift of a creative spirit, it brings me so much joy!

Because I have boys too!

These two never get in on the action, mostly because they don't sit still long enough! They don't really enjoy the picture thing so I don't torture them too often. I took these at the end of the summer and I was shocked when I opened them to see that my boys have grown so much! It has made me think about blogging again for the family. My girls pulled out the books that I made our past blogs into and I was very moved by it. Here is our history as our family, the history of their growing up years. I have decided that I really want to make sure and not miss capturing any more, I have missed so much already!! So back to the family blog it is! You may not be seeing too much of my own family on here, only clients. Signing off with one of the boys....

I'm missing summer...

Pulled out an old one of Philomena, this brought back so many memories for me for this was taken when my hubby was in Iraq. This was a very special day while he was gone we had such a good time at the beach! I cannot wait until I can go there again...

3 months photos

This little cutie came in for her 3 month photos. I know Mom had wished she would smile more, but I think even her serious look is cute. She is such a doll! And to finish it off we tried for a family picture, what a beautiful family it is! They have a very "happy" spunky boy!!

I have been so consumed with life's happenings that I have not taken the time to capture my baby. Took a couple the other day, made it a priority, it all goes by too fast! Gemma is a joy, I will soon post a few of her beautiful smile that lights up our lives!
