First Communion time

I love this time of year when I am priveleged to take the First Communion Portraits. It is such a special time! I especially get a lot of neices and nephews to work with at this time and this year my own son!

Six days old!

I had the privelege of photographing this precious little girl! Her parents are amazing in so many ways! It was wonderful meeting them! This little girl was wide awake and ready to play until we wore her out! Thank you A and F for the good time yesterday, I know the future will be bright for you and your family!

A new Blog??!!!

I have decided to start a new blog. The new one is the official family blog that I will write my heart out about our family life. This current blog will stick to business items only. I really enjoyed receiving the book of our family blog from over the past year and would like to continue the tradition. It is a great way to journal the history of a family! I did not feel like I could get as personal as I wanted with the business blog. The new blog is http://gundrumfamily.blogspot.com. Feel free to stop over, right now it looks like this one, but soon I will be updating highlights from the year so far, my husband takes too many wonderful pictures documenting everyday life, that they need to be included and remembered!

Official introductions

Since I don't like to use the childrens's real names on the blog I will be calling them by the nicknames they have earned in our family. All of these names have come from their father, he has a thing for nicknames and somehow they always seem to be appropiate for the person!

Yes, the boys are yet to come, it is so difficult to get a picture of them. I had to wait to post up "Buddy" and "Roo's" picture, because "Buddy" had mouth surgery last week. I did not realize how swollen his mouth was until I put them up. They will come soon!

New official name

As much as I love the name in His image and at the time I thought I was very original in thinking it up, I have decided to stick with simple. My new name and logo is simply Mary Gundrum photography. There are so many companies now that go by the name in His image, that it was time to do my own thing. It also works with my domain name and will make it easier for people to find my website.
